Associate Partner – Insurance

Synpulse USA, named one of Consulting Magazine’s best small firms to work for, is looking for an Associate Partner with experience in the insurance industry.This position offers you the opportunity to apply project management best practices in a fast-paced and intellectually challenging work environment. You will take ownership of projects and play a key role in building trusted client relationships through high quality deliverables and leveraging our industry expertise. 

  • Further build up Synpulse USA’s insurance practice around digital transformation and operational excellence topics by making key contributions to business development, talent management, oversight of delivery work, and thought leadership
  • Conduct interviews and workshops to define future state visions and prioritization of opportunity areas that deliver value across people, process, data & technology while ensuring buy-in from clients’ senior management
  • Perform gap analysis between current state versus future state and support client planning, business case development, project roadmaps and governance structures for execution
  • Independently drive the success of a project by directing activities, ensuring high quality deliverables and timely submission
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of organizations
  • Identify opportunities, articulate Synpulse’s value, and support selling services to both new and existing clients
  • Develop thought leadership in the digital transformation and operational excellence spaces by publishing articles, and participating in industry events and panel discussions
  • At least 8 years of insurance (P&C, Life Insurance or Reinsurance) experience at a management consulting firm or in a corporate strategy, enterprise architecture, business development, or management function within an insurance company
  • Expert in all aspects of program/project management
  • Experience in Strategic Technology Advisory, definition of Operating Models, Change Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Data Analytics & Visualization, Enterprise/Business Architecture, Accelerated Underwriting or Post Merger & Acquisitions is a plus
  • Experience in account management and extensive network with senior leadership at insurance carriers
  • Experience in managing internal and client teams
  • Bachelor’s degree or undergraduate equivalent from an accredited college/university is required; Master’s or MBA degree is preferred
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and achievement-oriented; driven to consistently delivering high-quality service
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels internally and with client teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills with an emphasis on client service and presentation
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Solid analytical and quantitative skills; ability to quickly understand complex situations
  • Ability to manage teams across multiple clients
