We are looking for consulting professionals with experience in the financial services industry to join our New York based team as a

Manager – Banking

You will take ownership of projects and play a key role in building trusted client relationships and product partnerships through high quality deliverables and leveraging our industry expertise. Furthermore, you are excited by the idea of joining our global company at one of its newest locations.
 
As a Manager, you will be responsible for managing small to mid-sized projects and teams of consultants while developing the company on its growth path. You will also play a key role in acquiring projects, supporting sales efforts, managing and developing existing client relationships and fostering new product partnerships to develop innovative solutions for clients.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Further build up Synpulse USA’s banking practice around digital transformation, operational excellence, and regulatory topics by making key contributions to business development, talent management, oversight of delivery work, and thought leadership
  • Identify opportunities, articulate Synpulse value, and support selling services to both new and existing clients
  • Develop thought leadership by publishing articles and participating in industry events and panel discussions
  •  Manage several projects under an account, including mentoring teams of consultants
  • Oversee the implementation and quality control of projects with regards to both budget and content
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of organizations
 
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree and approximately 6 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience
  • A degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field; MBA or MS degree preferred
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in technology delivery project/product management
  • Exceptional core consulting skills
  • Hands on experience across multiple facets of the software development life-cycle in a range of methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.), focused on either requirements definition, systems analysis or technical design through testing and implementation
  • Background in business systems analysis, requirements documentation, technical specification development and testing
  • Experience across various SDLC components supporting the implementation of vendor packages
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically in at least one of the following domains:
    • Retail Banking
    • Credit Cards
    • Payments
    • Consumer Banking
    • Small Business Banking
    • Wealth and/or Personal Financial Management
  • Traveling to client sites up to 70% of the time
